1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Instalegl you agree to be legally bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the platform. These Terms constitute a binding agreement between you and Tramarkify Business LLC, registered in India. We reserve the right to amend these Terms at any time; continued use constitutes acceptance.
2. Services & Intermediary Status
Instalegl is an on-demand legal services marketplace operating as an IT intermediary under Section 79 of the Information Technology Act, 2000. We facilitate connections between clients and independently-practising, Bar Council-enrolled advocates. Instalegl is not a law firm, does not provide legal advice, and is not party to any attorney-client relationship. All legal services are rendered exclusively by the independent advocates you engage through the platform.
Nothing on this platform constitutes legal advice. For advice specific to your matter, always consult a qualified advocate. Outcomes of legal matters are never guaranteed by Instalegl or any advocate on the platform.
3. User Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years of age, legally capable of entering into a binding contract under Indian law, not barred from receiving services under any applicable law, and provide accurate information during registration. By using the platform you confirm you meet all eligibility requirements.
4. Account Registration & Security
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You must: provide accurate, current, and complete information; promptly update any information that becomes inaccurate; not share your password; and notify us immediately at grievance@instalegl.in of any unauthorised access.
5. Advocate Relationship & Disclaimer
All advocates listed are independent professionals regulated by the Bar Council of India under the Advocates Act, 1961. Instalegl verifies Bar Council enrolment at onboarding and annually but does not employ, supervise, or control advocates’ professional judgement. Instalegl is not responsible for legal outcomes. The advocate-client relationship is governed by the Advocates Act, 1961 and BCI Rules, Part VI. Disputes regarding professional conduct must be raised with the relevant State Bar Council under Section 35 of the Advocates Act, 1961.
6. Payments & Fees
All fees are in Indian Rupees inclusive of applicable GST unless stated. Accepted payment methods: UPI, debit/credit cards, net banking, and digital wallets via PCI-DSS compliant gateways. A platform convenience fee (disclosed at checkout) is non-refundable except in cases of platform error. A GST invoice is issued for every transaction. Advocates receive their fees minus a platform commission of 15% + GST, credited within T+1 business day of service completion.
7. User Conduct
You agree not to: misrepresent your legal matter; harass, threaten, or abuse advocates or staff; circumvent the platform by directly engaging advocates discovered through us; post false reviews; upload harmful or illegal content; or violate any applicable Indian law including the IT Act, 2000 and BCI Rules. Violations may result in immediate account termination and legal action.
8. Intellectual Property
All content, trademarks, logos, and technology on Instalegl are the exclusive property of Tramarkify Business LLC or its licensors. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence for personal, non-commercial access only. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without prior written permission.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable Indian law, Instalegl and Tramarkify Business LLC shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages. Our aggregate liability shall not exceed fees paid by you in the prior 3 months. We are not liable for any legal outcome, court decision, or advocate professional judgment.
10. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Mumbai, Maharashtra. Parties shall attempt good-faith resolution for 30 days before commencing arbitration under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996.
11. Bar Council of India & Advocates Act Compliance
Instalegl operates in full compliance with the Advocates Act, 1961, the Bar Council of India Rules (including Rule 36 on advertising), and all applicable professional conduct regulations. Our platform is classified as a neutral legal technology intermediary marketplace — not an advocate advertisement platform. All advocates listed comply with BCI Rules Part VI on professional conduct. Advocates are prohibited from soliciting clients or guaranteeing outcomes through the platform.
