Can I reschedule?
Yes. My Bookings → Reschedule. Free 48+ hours in advance. ₹199 fee within 48 hours of the scheduled service.
What if my advocate cancels?
Immediate notification and 100% refund to your original payment method. Option to re-book at no cost.
Which services are available pan-India?
Court representation, bail, document drafting, consultation, legal notices, affidavits, and contract review are available online nationally and across Mumbai (currently). Trademark and Probate/LOA/Succession are currently Mumbai-only (expanding soon).
Is Instalegl a law firm?
No. Instalegl is not a law firm. We are a technology intermediary marketplace under IT Act 2000 s.79. All legal services are rendered by independent Bar Council-enrolled advocates. Nothing on our platform constitutes legal advice specific to your matter.

Advocate Issues
How do I report an advocate?
Completed booking → Rate & Review → Report Issue. Or email grievance@instalegl.in with your booking ID. Investigated within 7 business days.
How do I complain to the Bar Council?
Formal professional misconduct complaints may be filed with the relevant State Bar Council under Section 35 of the Advocates Act, 1961. Visit barcouncilofindia.org for the process.

How do I submit a DPDPA 2023 data request?
Email grievance@instalegl.in from your registered email address. Response within 30 days as required by DPDPA 2023.
How do I raise a formal grievance under IT Act 2000?
Email grievance@instalegl.in. Acknowledged within 24 hours; resolved within 30 days per IT (Intermediary Guidelines) Rules, 2021.
How do I send a legal notice to Instalegl?
Send formal notices to grievance@instalegl.in with your full name, contact details, and nature of the dispute.
Is Instalegl regulated by the Bar Council of India?
Instalegl is not directly regulated by the BCI as it is not a law firm. We are an IT intermediary. However, all advocates on our platform are regulated by the BCI and their respective State Bar Councils under the Advocates Act, 1961. See our Bar Council Compliance page.
